About Me! Who Am I?

Hi I’m Dr. Yasmine Elamir and I am a triple board certified internist, endocrinologist, and obesity specialist and health coach. More importantly, I am a mom of two beautiful kids and someone who struggled with obesity and insulin resistance my entire life. See I come from a family of obese diabetics and I want to let you in on a secret…I got into this field to save myself. Now that I have lost 75 lbs and have blood work I am proud to show off (yeah I gained a lot of confidence too), I no longer fear an early death like my grandparents and uncles did from complications of diabetes and obesity.
